Ambassador Page

Ambassadors are a passionate group of dedicated volunteers who help spread awareness of The Couchiching Conservancy and the work we do. They attend community events with display booths, call supporters to invite them to events, deliver Passport to Nature booklets, and more!

As an ambassador, you have the ability to share your passion for a healthy environment with others, meet like-minded people who share the same vision, and help expand the land trust movement in your region. By working together, ambassadors help us build a community of supporters to drive change at a local level.

On this page you will find all the resources you need as an Ambassador. If you have any questions or there are other documents you would like us to include, please email Joelle at

Annual General Meeting

Saturday, March 7, 2020
Approx. 1:30pm-5:00pm *specific time TBD

Our Annual General Meeting is our biggest event of the year, and we need your help to chat to Conservancy supporters! Many individuals who attend our AGM are new to the Conservancy and are looking to learn more about the organization and what we do. At this event we will have a number of small booths set up that will be providing reading materials for the meeting, Conservancy info, membership, and merchandise. We need your help at these tables, registration, and to greet people to introduce them to the Conservancy community and the event!

Stopping by the Office Anytime Soon?
If you are stopping by the Conservancy office in the next week, we would love if you could grab some AGM posters and pass them along to local businesses in the area to help promote the event.
More Green Makes Better Blue
Thursday, March 12, 2020
The Couchiching Conservancy is teaming up with Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition to educate individuals in the Barrie area on how protecting land benefits water quality and the lakes that surround us. We will need a couple of Ambassadors to help out at our booth and to greet people as they arrive.

Seedy Saturday

Saturday, March 21, 2020
Doesn’t this event immediately make you dream of Spring? Seedy Saturday is a wonderful event where local gardeners get together to share their collection of seeds, plants, and seedlings with individuals looking to freshen up their garden. With lots of nature enthusiasts attending this event, it’s a great opportunity to set up a Conservancy booth to chat about local land conservation.
