3.5 6.5 cm diameter, convex to flattened, with incurved margins; wet weather may have washed away any veil remnants;
smooth. Colour: 70. light orange yellow, darkening with age to 71. medium orange yellow, with a 78. dark yellow brown
centre. There is a veil on a small specimen that was collected ( pale yellow)

5-8 cm high and 0.5 -1 cm width; 89. pale yellow near cap, becoming 74. strong yellow brown approaching base.
Hollow, tapering slightly to base, finely hairy.
