moist area, on unidentified stump in mixed forest mainly coniferous.

SPECIES
No pleurocystidia; cheilocystidia long and narrow; caulocystidia - vermiform . Note that another collection made
2 days later is also submitted - Pholiota flavida var. flavida - which was found in a much dryer area, but was very
fragrant. Microscopically they were similiar.
Gills: adnate to weakly decurrent, close, moderately broad, light yellow.

5 fruiting bodies, clustered. 0.7 -2.9 cm diameter, convex, with an incurved margin, and obvious to faint veil remnants.
Glabrous and slightly tacky. Colour: between 83. brilliant yellow and 84. strong yellow.
