no remnants of veil seen. Smooth, fibrillose using hand lens. Broadly convex, with small papillose knob in centre. Diameter
2 cm. Colour: 73. pale orange yellow.
CAP
5 cm x 0.2 cm wide; no sign of ring, but slightly fibrillose. Base fades into sphagnum, with which it is intimately
connected, so the base is not clearly demarcated. Colour: 57. light brown near base, 92. yellowish white near apex.
