DESCRIPTION
on a rotten , moss covered log, mixed woods ( birch. pine, hemlock,spruce, poplar ).
HABITAT
The moss is Callicladium haldanianum,also some Sanionia uncinata.

Gills: adnate, with a very fine decurrent tooth, seen with hand lens.. Close, with lamellulae. 74. strong yellowish

2 - 3.5 cm diameter, almost flat, but with a pointed umbo ( slightly depressed around the umbo); glutinous, slightly
streaked , apparently because of the drying gluten ( seen with hand lens ). Colour: 72. dark orange yellow, darkening at
umbo to 74. strong yellow brown.

2.5 cm high x .25 - .3 cm diameter, central, straight, attached to wood, but this is covered with moss - the stipe
traverses the moss.; finely lined the length of the stipe. Colour: apex of stipe- 101. light greenish yellow, becoming
darker - 105. grayish greenish yellow as we go lower on the stipe. Equal, central, in larger specimens hollow. No
mycelial mat.
