November 14th, Passport to Nature presentation

Philip Careless

The next Passport event is a presentation by Philip Careless of Ontario Parks. Don’t miss it!

Event Details

Nestled within Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park, The Couchiching Conservancy’s newest reserve – the Black River property – is at the heart of one of southern Canada’s most powerful biological engines. From the comfort of our seats we shall climb rock barrens and slog through fens in pursuit of the plants and animals in our last great southern wilderness. This event is in partnership with the Carden Field Naturalists Club. A $2 contribution at the door helps the Club cover the cost to rent the Carden Recreation Center.

Registration is Required:

We are very excited to share the 4th Passport to Nature program with you! In celebration  of the 25th anniversary since the formation of The Couchiching Conservancy, we are offering 25 events. Yes, 25 events. The Passport program continues to be exceptionally popular and there is so much to learn and explore, 25 events just makes sense!

There is one slight change for this year with registration. This year, the event registrations will still be available ~1.5 months before the event date. This will ensure everyone has a chance to register, and the event date is front of mind. All details of the event are shared  in the booklet and online so you can mark your calendar in advance, and we will share when registration is open for each event through our e-newsletter and social media. We hope this altered system will work! If you have any questions, any of the staff are happy to help. Call the office (705.326.1620) or email
